Trust & transparency
Safety comes before experience.
Every interaction with a young person should protect dignity, privacy, agency, and clear adult responsibility.

Guardian-mediated participation
Children do not enrol independently. A parent or legal guardian leads enquiries, receives programme information, and provides consent.
Appropriate boundaries
Communication channels, session expectations, and adult roles are made clear before participation. Private child-to-adult contact outside agreed programme settings is not encouraged.
Minimal information
We avoid collecting sensitive child information unless it is necessary, appropriate, and clearly explained to the guardian.
When other support is needed
LIT WITHIN does not provide clinical or emergency support. When a young person may need specialist care, a guardian should contact a qualified professional or local emergency service.
